Fadel Partners Implements Oracle Time and Labor at KCI Technologies Inc.New York, October 23, 2006- Fadel Partners recently announced that it had successfully implemented Oracle Time and Labor (OTL) and extended Project Accounting functionality at KCI Technologies Inc., the largest employee-owned, multi-disciplined engineering firm in Maryland. Fadel Partners automated KCI's entire time and attendance record-keeping process, replacing Oracle's soon-to-be-desupported iTime product, and expanded integration with the Oracle Project Accounting module."KCI wanted to manage the implementation process internally and leverage some of its internal Oracle expertise. We selected Fadel Partners for their unique abilities to provide overall project guidance and highly knowledgeable point solution consultants on a cost-effective, as needed basis throughout the implementation lifecycle," said Alan Mlinarchik, CIO at KCI Technologies. Users are able to enter time via a web browser, allowing approvers to search for specific employee timecards, view summary information, and perform mass timesheet approvals. OTL enables KCI to enforce specific HR and project-specific policies such as defining compensation plans based on shifts and work plans. With OTL, KCI has the ability to control employee time entry to active projects residing in Oracle, and can drive full automation of client invoicing. Moreover, KCI can configure specific policies for holidays, paid time off, and overtime. "Fadel Partners offers flexible engagement approaches such as our lean consulting model which was deployed at KCI. This model allows us to augment an existing client implementation team and guide them throughout the project life cycle. Alternatively, Fadel Partners also engages in end-to end project implementations and post production support, utilizing a combination of our onsite, offsite, and offshore resources, said Ziad Fadel, co-founder and partner at Fadel Partners.
